Frequently Asked
Questions
-
Are the pups
raised in the house?
Yes, these puppies come from families.
-
Are the puppies
purebred or registered?
Designer dogs don't come with registration
papers. Sometimes we sell purebred dogs, but if the price is around half of a
retail price then they don't come with papers or may include a foundation
registration from American Pet Registry Database or from American Kennel
Records. This registration is not meant to be used for show purposes. A puppy with papers will be advertised as "with papers".
-
Do you
guarantee your puppies?
Yes, see our health warranty policy.
-
Do your pups
have shots? Have they been d-wormed?
Yes, they come with at least the first series
of shots and first d-wormings, but it is the buyer's responsibility to provide
further d-wormings and shots.
-
Are your
puppies potty trained? House broken?
Partially but not guaranteed. Our work is concentrated on the health and good nutrition of our
puppies. Trainings are never included and it is the buyer's responsibility to
provide any further trainings.
-
Are you a puppy
mill? Do you get your puppies from puppy mills?
We are NOT puppy mills and we do NOT get our puppies from Puppy mills, we
network from breeders and our
puppies come from regular people or families.
-
How do I know you are
not buying from puppy mills?
Puppy mills are establishments designed to breed the so called "highest
quality" AKC dogs so they can take full advantage of their investment, since
none of our puppies are AKC registered and most of our puppies are
crossbreeds, a simple conclusion will answer this question.
-
Why are your prices
so low compared to others?
Simple, we are in Texas not in New York.
-
What is a breeding
network?
We find breeders to buy or sell their puppies to our customers and we
provide
our health warranty.
-
Does the
warranty comes from the breeder?
No, the warranty on puppies is not like
manufacturer's warranty, it comes form the seller. (a breeder may not respond
to any warranties if the puppy dies).
-
Can we contact
the breeder to ask questions about their dogs?
You will get the same answer if you ask an eBay
seller that you need to speak to their suppliers before buying. These breeders
are our private suppliers and under no circumstances do we display their
contact information to our customers. Breeders are protected under
CutePuppiesOnline privacy policy. All questions or concerns must be directed
to CutePuppiesOnline.
-
Why are some puppies
more expensive than others?
We don't set the prices, breeders do but on moist puppies you can clearly
see the difference in cuteness, characteristics and therefore the price.
-
Is your payment form
secure?
Yes, it is secure when the address bar on the payment page, whether credit
cards or Paypal, start with with https://
-
I want the smallest
tiniest puppy. Do you sell Teacup
Puppies?
Sometimes. But there is a big difference in price.
-
Why teacups are more
expensive? (Teacups is a name used by breeders to define the difference between a
normal toy size to the minimized size dogs they are breeding).
The definition
teacup does not exist on the dog's size classification.
Teacup puppies are more expensive because they are harder to produce and very
fragile or harder to keep them alive. Some are prone to hypoglycemia, eye disorders and
accidents (Many teacup puppies are accidentally killed by children or adults). That's
why most of our puppies are normal toy or miniature size.
-
What dog sizes are recommended
for a family?
Depending on the situation but we go as safe as possible.
A) If you have Children
under the age of 16, adults that lack of good reflexes or bigger dogs then
we highly suggest a dog that is going to be over 10 Lbs.
B)
You can have tiny or tea-cup
puppies/dogs if you are an adult living with responsible people that are
still able to have good reflexes. We can't put an age to see how old is the
limit, but you should be able to tell if your relatives fit into this
criteria.
These suggestions can be clearly
explained by your local veterinarian too.
-
Can I come and see
the puppies before I pay for it?
Yes, under the following restrictions
* By appointments only.
* Limited to 3 persons per visit only.
* Prior deposit is highly suggested or we do not guarantee availability (No
exceptions)
* For safety reasons, since we can't tell who has been around with another
puppy or dog with Parvo or other diseases, we will not allow you to come in
and touch each of our puppies, instead we will bring the puppy you selected to
the front (If available) and we will disinfect your hands before and after
touching a puppy.
NOTE: Parvo virus, despite what you might hear, is NOT an airborne
virus. It is excreted in the feces of infected dogs, and if someone ( human,
dog, bird, etc.) Steps in the infected excrement or otherwise comes in contact
with it, the possibility for contamination is great. Just by walking out
the streets you may be carrying a virus on your shoes. Most of prospective
puppy buyers may check out several kennels in one day, never informing the
owners of a litter, that they have looked at and handled other pups. If they
inadvertently handled a contagious puppy at the first kennel stop of the day,
the prospective buyer can then carry the disease on their hands and clothing
to each kennel seen afterwards. As a matter of fact; anyone can carry &
transmit the Parvo virus without even knowing that
-
What can you tell me about an
specific dog's personality, temperament, demeanor?
All our puppies have cute, playful & sweet personalities and 90% of the time we
can't see any difference from one to another. But as you can see on our
references, my customers are very happy with their puppy's personalities and I
am sure that you won't get dissapointed.
-
Do you have any breeders in my
state and city?
No, we work locally only and we don't act as a puppy finder service.
Basically what we do is sell what we have available.
-
What do I need to pick up the puppy at the
airport?
Just your ID and the confirmation/booking number "Sent by email after payment is
received".
-
Can I let someone else pick up the dog for me?
Yes, but you must complete & fax the
PICKUP AUTHORIZATION FORM
-
Which one makes a better pet, a male or
female?
There are no specific or scientific research that proves which canine sex is
better. The conclusion to this questions is based on personal experiences. In
our own experience we find that both genders, as long as you spay or neuter, are very good pets with no difference at
all.
-
Can
I buy the
youngest puppy (like 5-6 weeks old at most), which one would you recommend?
no, for the following
2 reasons and one is not only my suggestion, but also my vet and any other vet's
recommendations:
(1) Any puppy older than 10 weeks of age is ideal, the main reason is that
by that age they will already have at least 2 series of shots, this
makes a stronger immune system and they will be easier to potty train too,
unfortunately people always feel attracted to baby puppies with low or no
immune defense.
(2) We can't ship a puppy that is younger than 2 months of age, this is a
USD qA regulation. However for pickups, if the puppy is already well
developed, we may allow you get your puppy at the age of 7 weeks.
-
How does the immunizations process work?
All born puppies get temporal antibodies from their mother, this is obtained
from the mother's colostrums which is found on her milk and the puppies will
receive it within the first 48 hours of nursing. These antibodies will fully
protect the puppy against bacteria's, viruses, germs, etc for a period of 30
days. After the first month, the amount of antibodies will be dropping
drastically week after week that's why all series of vaccination should start
from the age of 6-8 weeks to a total of 4 rounds of shots.
The Bad news from mother antibodies is that when the puppy is getting the
first shots, this will create a window of susceptibility, at age of 6-8 weeks
these antibodies It will be strong enough to destroy the antigen of the
vaccination, but at the same time they will be weak enough to let a virus
attack the puppy. The first round of shots somehow are kind of useless, it is
basically to get rid of the mother's immunity which won't let puppy develop
its own immunity.
In order for vaccinations to work properly, the puppy must be healthy, the
process takes one vaccination every 2-3 weeks for a total of 4 shots, whether
the puppy is vaccinated at a young age or not, by the age of 4 months old will
have no mother's antibodies left. If that is the case (if this puppy has never
been vaccinated before) only 2 vaccinations will be enough. Despite that vaccinating the puppy for the first time can
make it more susceptible; we have to start somewhere. Most of vaccine
laboratories make what is called "high titer vaccine" This is supposed to not
only neutralize or overwrite the mother's immunity, but also to allow the
puppy to build its own immunity, however the immunization chart is expected to
be the following
1st shots (protects a 20%) at 6-8 wks old
2nd shots (Raises protection to 50%) given 2-4 weeks later
3rd Shots (up to 75%-80%) given 2-4 weeks later
4th & Last shots (90%-100%) given 2-4 weeks later
Then annual vaccinations will be required.
-
Are these
designer dogs first generations?
Some are first generations but some are not.
Designer dogs can be either a cross between 2 pure breed dogs, 2 second
generation dogs, 1 pure dog and 1 designer dog or multi-generation.
-
What is a designer
dog?
A designer "as the name tells you" it's a
design, it does not meet any standards like pure breed dogs and that's why
they are unique and most of the times cuter.
If you look at this information below, there isn't of much difference if you
see it through a different perspective.
Pure breeds are also
designer dogs created by mixes. Examples:
* American bulldog has Bulldog, Mastiff sprang, British war dogs and dogue de
bordeaux in its blood.
* American Eskimo Dog comes from the German Spitz, Keeshond, Pomeranian and
Italian Spitz.
* American Pitt Bull & Staffordshire Terriers are a mix from a variety of
bulldogs and terriers.
* Australian silky terrier is a mix of Yorkshire terrier with the
Australian terrier.
* Beagle from from a Harrier and other hounds in England
* Bichon Frise is also a mix from Maltese, miniature Spaniel, miniature
Poodle & Cayenne dogs.
* Borzoi from from Saluki, Greyhound, and a lean of variety of Russian
sheepdog.
* Boxer is a cross between Brabanter Bullenbeisser & Bulldog
* Dogo Argentino is a mix from Great Dane, Bull Terrier, Boxer, Pointer,
Great Pyrenees, Old English Bulldog, Irish Wolfhound, Dogue de Bordeaux and
the Spanish Mastiff.
* Etc, Etc & Etc.
* Golden retrievers come from crosses between a yellow Flat-Coated
Retriever, light-coated Tweed Water Spaniels, other spaniels, setters and
even the Newfoundland and possibly the Bloodhound.
* Labrador retrievers come from the Newfoundland dog.
* Papillon may have Spanish Dwarf Spaniel and Spitz as well.
* Pomeranian was developed in Pomerania, Germany, by breeding from small
varieties of the large German Spitz.
* Saint Bernards are a cross between Great Danes, Newfoundland & English
Mastiffs.
* Shih Tzu is a mix of Tibetan Mountain Dog and the Pekingese.
* Yorkshire terriers come from different types of terrier, including the
Skye and the now extinct Clydesdale.
* Bull Terriers & Boston terriers come from a mix of a bull dog and a white
English terrier.
So... if you have a pure AKC dog just keep in mind that
it was also a designer
dogs created by people.

Can I have your vet's number to call
for reference?
A few months ago I had his information posted on my site and everybody was
calling just to ask general questions about my service interrupting his
valuable time. Of course he was not happy with that since he does not get paid to
work as a reference source. Keep in mind that he has to attend his other
important clients too. But he will be more than happy to answer your questions
about the puppy he checked once the health certificate has been issued under
your name.
