information, (pick up location, phone number, and confirmation/booking
number within 1-3 days before shipping date.
The puppy travels in a crate with plenty of space (more than
passengers have), it has shredded paper on the bottom so the puppy will
travel comfortably. The place where they travel is air conditioning
regulated and air pressurized, the same conditions that passengers have.
In Houston, the airlines has 4 vans (also air conditioning regulated)
that will separately handle the puppies from the plane to the station
and vise versa. This service to transport puppies is nothing new, they
have been using it for the last 20 years. Also, the airlines is
regulated by animal control and they fully comply with their
regulations, that's why their service is called PET SAFE.
The pup usually sleeps most of the flight or plays with the shredded paper
when awake. (We do not use sedatives)

Picking up your puppy at the
airport.
You can pick up the pup after 20-45 minutes
of arrival time. (Bring ID & confirmation number to the airport)
(Your keep the crate).
Depending on each airport, the pickup location could be either
at the Cargo
Office, baggage claims or ticket counter.
INSPECT THE DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU
RECEIVE THE PUPPY!
- Make sure you get the puppy health records.
Look at the plastic pouch stuck to the top side of
the crate

Inside the pouch, there should be the following items in the following
order
- Waybill on top (This is what you sign when
picking up)
- Health certificate then...
- Vaccine records in a manila envelope.
- Also, always check the pockets located on the top
side of the crate, sometimes puppies are sent with follow up
D-worming tablets "Albon".
The health certificate is always stapled to the
vaccination records
Do not expect a 100% clean dog, puppies will do their business inside the crate
if they have to.
Once you get home, bathe the puppy (you may use a regular shampoo), dry with a
towel and use a hair dryer. If the puppy seems a little stressed,
bathe the next day.
What to Bring?
Bring water, Nutri-cal (High Calorie & Vitamins supplement)
or an alternative supplement for puppies that you can get from a Pet
store.
Allow the puppy for a bathroom break far away from
the airport in a non public place.
